IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 30 June 2015 Issued at 6:20 am EST Wednesday on 01 July 2015 Cloud across Queensland and northern New South Wales is being generated by moist onshore airflow to the east of an inland surface trough. The trough stretches from the Gulf of Carpentaria to the southern NSW coast. An upper air disturbance to the west is supporting this surface trough. Areas of low cloud over Victoria and the southeast of South Australia are evident near a high pressure ridge extending across the south of the continent. A complex low pressure system is approaching the southwest of Western Australia. A large mass of deep convective cloud can be seen near the Solomon Islands associated with Tropical Cyclone "Raquel".
