A broad cloud band extends from the northwest of WA through large parts of South
Australia and southern NT, into NSW and southern Queensland. This cloud is due
to a surface and upper level trough.

A cold front is crossing western Tasmania, southwest Victoria and southern SA.
It is also bringing areas of low cloud to the far southwest of WA.

Patchy low cloud along parts of the Queensland east coast is due to a moist
onshore airflow.
