A cold front with some low cloud is moving across the Bight and WA south coast, with a pool of cold air behind it indicated by the patchy cloud. Northern Australia is mainly free of cloud, however there are areas of rain and embedded thunderstorms associated with troughs over the Top End, the tip of Cape York and coastal northwest Western Australia.
