Cloud circulates around a low complex over the Tasman Sea near New Zealand with
embedded thunderstorms about the north island.

A cloud band is streaming over southern Queensland, NSW and eastern Victoria.
This is associated with a broad upper level trough and jet stream. Isolated
thunderstorms are visible in this cloud off the NSW coast. High level cloud is
visible further north about the Top End and Gulf of Carpentaria. 

A weakening cold front is progressing across Victoria and to the east of
Tasmania. Some patchy low cloud remains over agricultural districts of South

A little low level cloud is evident about the far southwest of Western Australia
while a ridge of high pressure is keeping skies clear through the interior.
