A cold front over the Tasman Sea links to a complex low pressure system.
Extensive cloud is visible in the vicinity of this system with embedded
thunderstorms. A cloud band which extends from the Southern Ocean to eastern
Tasmania and along the NSW south coast is wrapping this low pressure system.

A trough and low over New South Wales has a significant cloud band and isolated
thunderstorms associated with it. While middle level cloud and thunderstorms can
be seen near a cold front which is approaching the southwest of Western

High level jet stream cloud stretches from the Indian Ocean to over central
Australia and also southern Queensland. Northern Australia is mostly clear.
