An upper level disturbance is producing middle level cloud and isolated
thunderstorms about the eastern Interior of Western Australia and the southwest
Northern Territory. A band of mostly upper level cloud is crossing southern
Western Australia.

A trough extends from the Bight to a low south of South Australia. This system
is producing patches of middle level cloud over eastern South Australia and
western parts of New South Wales and Victoria.

Another trough over Queensland is generating a broad middle level cloud band
which extends from the northwest to the southeast of the state.

Patches of low cloud over the east coasts of Queensland and New South Wales are
due to an onshore wind flow.

A low and trough to the northwest of Australia has generated a broad area of
cloud and thunderstorms over ocean waters to the northwest of Australia.
