A complex low pressure system over New South Wales is generating a middle level
cloud band and scattered thunderstorms. To the west of this system areas of low
cloud can be seen about the south coast of Western Australia and South Australia
within a moist southerly onshore flow.

An area of isolated thunderstorms just off the Kimberley coast is associated
with a weak low pressure system.

A broad area of low pressure over the Tasman Sea is producing an area of mainly
middle level cloud and thunderstorms. The central and northeastern parts of the
country are mainly cloud free under the influence of a ridge of high pressure.
