A strong cold front is moving across the Tasman Sea with a trough embedded in the vigorous southwesterly airstream behind this front. Showers and thunderstorms in the wake of the front continue off the NSW coast.
Areas of low cloud extend over the SA coast in a moist onshore airstream.
Cloud band associated with an approaching cold front is bringing light showers to the southwest corner of WA.
A ridge of high pressure stretches across the remainder of the continent resulting in clear skies.
