IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1200UTC chart on 27 February 2015 Issued at 11:29 pm EDT Friday on 27 February 2015 Thunderstorm activity continues over the Tropical north of the country. A trough of low pressure extends from near the Top End through central Queensland to the eastern parts of NSW. Areas of active thunderstorms and patchy areas of cloud cover much of Western Australia and South Australia, and are associated with a broad area of low pressure. The low pressure troughs over the Bight have generated an extensive area of middle-level cloud that extends east over western NSW and Tasmania and Victoria. Remainder of the country remains mostly clear.
