Low cloud along the east coast of Victoria, New South Wales and southern
Queensland is due to cold airmass associated with a complex low pressure system
near New Zealand. Thunderstorms can be seen over the northern Tasman Sea.

Cloud with embedded thunderstorms over the Eyre Peninsula (SA) is due to a cold
front and low pressure system. Low cloud is affecting southwest Western
Australia, behind the cold front. Middle level cloud streaming across South
Australia is associated with an upper level trough.

High level jetstream cloud stretches from the northwest into northern SA and
southwest Queensland.

The remainder of the country is mostly clear under the influence of a high
pressure ridge.
