Issued at 1:10 pm EST Friday on 25 July 2014

An area of cloud over southern SA, Victoria and Tasmania is associated with a low pressure system near the west of Victoria. Isolated thunderstorms are visible near the east and northwest coast of Tasmania.

Another area of cloud extends from the southern interior of QLD to the central NSW coast, with thunderstorms near the coast.

Some low cloud can be seen over the southwest of WA ahead of a cold front to the west.

Areas of cloud over eastern and northern QLD are due to a moist onshore airflow.

Remaining areas of the country are mostly clear due to a strong high pressure system.
