IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0600UTC chart on 28 February 2015 Issued at 7:04 pm EDT Saturday on 28 February 2015 Thunderstorm activity continues over the Tropical north of the country. A trough of low pressure across the inland areas of Northern Territory, Queensland and New South Wales. Areas of active thunderstorms and patchy areas of cloud cover much of the northern parts of Western Australia and inland areas of South Australia, these are associated with a broad area of low pressure. A cold front and a deepening low pressure system to the southwest of Tasmania have triggered isolated thunderstorms near the SA-VIC border and generated an extensive area of low and middle-level cloud that extends to eastern Victoria and Tasmania. Mostly clear conditions for the remainder of the country.
