Showers and thunderstorms are active over the Kimberley, Top End and far north
Queensland due to a humid unstable airmass. Showers and isolated thunderstorms
are also visible about the southern interior of Queensland and the northeastern
districts of NSW.
The subtropical ridge is keeping southern and central Australia mostly clear.
The low cloud along the Victoria and New South Wales coast is due to an onshore
southeasterly wind flow directed by the ridge.

Further south, a cold front is tracking to the southwest of Western Australia.
