Issued at 7:14 pm EDT Sunday on 04 October 2015

High level cloud associated with a weak upper trough is drifting across the
Bight through Victoria and southern NSW. This high level cloud merges with a
weakening cold front over the Tasman Sea. A stronger cold front is near the
southwest coast of Western Australia and connects to a deep low over the
Southern Ocean.

Cumulus cloud has developed over the Northern Territory this afternoon while
onshore southeasterly winds are resulting in patchy cloud over far north
Queensland. A ride of high pressure is maintaining clear conditions over the
remainder of the country.
