A cloud band over central South Australia extends south of Adelaide. This cloud is associated with an active surface trough and an upper level disturbance.
Some low cloud in the wake of this system remains near Esperance, Western Australia. High cloud streaming towards WA from the west is associated with a cold front and a low pressure system.
Low cloud persists over eastern New South Wales and southeast Queensland due to a strong high pressure system centred east of Tasmania.
Patchy cloud in a moist onshore airstream affects the Queensland central and north coast.
