Cloud with isolated thunderstorms over the central and southeast parts of WA is
the combined result of a surface and an upper level trough. High cloud can be
seen streaming across SA ahead of the upper level trough.

A cold front with associated cloud band and embedded thunderstorms is
approaching the southwest parts of WA.

Low cloud can be seen in the southerly wind flow along the NSW coast and is due
to a low pressure system located over the Tasman Sea.

Cloud off the east coast of QLD is due to another surface trough and upper level
jetstream.

A strong high pressure system located to the southeast of SA, extends a ridge
over the remainder of the country and is maintaining mostly clear skies.
