IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 28 March 2015 Issued at 11:29 am EDT Saturday on 28 March 2015 A high pressure system over the eastern Bight is directing a low-level cloud over southeast Australia in a weak moist onshore flow. The remnants of Tropical Cyclone Nathan are off the north Kimberley coast. Middle level cloud is streaming southwards from this area. Thunderstorms are visible over northern parts of the Kimberley, mostly offshore. A surface trough over northwest Queensland has also triggered some convective activity over the southeast Gulf of Carpentaria and adjacent inland areas. The middle to upper-level cloud resulting from vigorous convective activity yesterday over western WA has now advected over southwest South Australia and southeast WA.
