Isolated convective clouds are evident over northern half of Western Australia,
Northern Territory, Gulf of Carpentaria, these clouds cover a more broad area
over Queensland and northeast New South Wales resulting in thunderstorm activity
in a complex, broad low pressure area.

Middle level cloud extends from QLD over NSW and east Victoria ahead of an upper
level trough.

A cloud band ahead of a cold front can be seen over Tasmania, extending over
parts of Victoria and central NSW.

The southern half of WA and most parts of SA are clear due to a ridge of high
pressure extending over these areas with low level cloud further south extending
across the Bight in the wake of the cold front.
