An extensive band of middle and high level cloud, resulted from the interaction
between a surface trough and an upper level trough, extends from the interior WA
across central Australia and into southwest QLD. 

Patchy high level cloud is streaming along the jet stream from the Indian Ocean
to northern WA. 

A cold front is moving across the western Tasman Sea, speckled cloud can be seen
in the unstable cold air behind the front.

Low level cloud found near tropical Queensland, Tasmania and along the south
coast of the continent are due to onshore flows driven by a firm ridge of high
