A broad area of low pressure extends across northern Australia causing cloud
with embedded thunderstorms over much of the Northern Territory, as well as
northern and eastern WA, and northern Queensland.

An area of thunderstorm activity is occurring over northeast New South Wales and
southeast queensland associated with a surface trough.

The rest of the country remains mostly clear apart from some low cloud along the
southern coast and coast of New South Wales.
