A broad, slow moving cloud band extends from the northwest of WA through most of
South Australia into NSW. This cloud is due to an upper level trough.

A cold front extends from central New South Wales to the Tasman sea. Cold air
convective cloud behind the front covers western and southern parts of Tasmania
and southern Victoria.

Convective cloud near the northeast coast of the Top End is associated with a
weak trough and easterly surge over the Arafura Sea.
