Low level cloud is visible over South Australia, Victoria, Tasmania and inland
over New South Wales due to a westerly flow being directed by a dominating high
pressure system over southern Australia.

Middle level cloud extends over the Pilbara, Gascoyne Central Wheat Belt and
Interior Districts of Western Australia and western Queensland. This is due to a
surface trough over the Western Australian coast and an upper level trough.
Onshore winds are resulting in patchy cloud about the North Tropical Coast of
Queensland.

The rest of the country remains mostly clear under a high pressure ridge.
