IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 1800UTC chart on 31 July 2015 Issued at 5:00 am EST Saturday on 01 August 2015 The cloud band with embedded thunderstorms over southern Western Australia is moving eastwards. This is due to a trough and a low pressure system. Mid level cloud streaming across southeast Australia is due to a strong cold front to the west of Tasmania. Patchy low cloud over the Queensland's east coast is the result of the southeast trade wind flow. The remainder of the country is mostly clear due to a ridge of high pressure.
