Extensive cloud with embedded thunderstorm activity is over the Coral Sea and
adjacent Queensland coast. This is due to a surface low pressure trough near the
QLD coast combining with an upper level disturbance to the west.

Cloud is streaming from northwest South Australia to south of Tasmania. This is
associated with the remnants of a cold front. A second stronger cold front is
nearing this cloud band and will proceed across the southeast of the continent.
A further cold front can be seen well south of Western Australia.

An area of low cloud is over southwest WA in the onshore flow driven by the high
pressure system.
