IDY28000 Australian Government Bureau of Meteorology Bureau National Operations Centre Satellite Notes for the 0000UTC chart on 18 April 2015 Issued at 12:13 pm EST Saturday on 18 April 2015 A broad area of middle and high level cloud extends across central parts of Western Australia through to the southeast of the continent. This is due to an upper level trough. A vigorous cold front is now nearing Adelaide. Frontal cloud stretches from the Eyre Peninsula, SA to just west of Tasmania. A large area of "speckled" cloud south of the Bight is the cold air field behind the front. Areas of low cloud along the east coast of Queensland and on the south coast of WA are due to moist, onshore airstreams.
