A band of patchy middle level cloud stretching across central WA and through to
northern SA is associated with a trough. Embedded thunderstorms are visible
within this cloud band. A separate surface trough over southeast SA is
generating areas of middle level cloud with isolated thunderstorms.

A surface trough just off the coast of NSW and southeast QLD is generating an
extensive band of middle level cloud with embedded thunderstorms that extends
over the western Tasman Sea to southeast QLD.

An area of middle level cloud and isolated thunderstorms over northeast NSW and
southeast QLD is being driven by a weak upper level trough.
