Satellite images provided here can be used free of charge as they show significant events which have affected Australia. The Bureau endeavours to preempt requests by keeping abreast of significant events and producing the imagery on an ad hoc basis and posting it to these pages. If there is no imagery for an event which you consider important, please contact the Satellite Operations Group via the image request form. A cost-recovery charge may apply.
