Early career researchers and professionals in the ocean sciences and closely related fields
and industries are invited to register their interest
in attending the International Summer School for Observing, Assimilating and Forecasting the Ocean.
Other candidates will be considered subject to availability of places and demostrated ability to fund their participation.

A number of registration waivers and accomodation scholarships will be offered competitively on the basis of need and merit. Travel scholarships are much more limited and participants are encouraged to explore alternative funding sources. We will endeavour to find funding for quality candidates. Summer school places and scholarships will be awarded based on the information provided in the registration form below and supporting email that will be requested from your supervisor. It is therefore critical that the information provided, particularly email addresses are accurate. Selections will be based on the stage of career, relevance of qualifications and other achievements to a career in the ocean and marine science and industry. An early career researcher is defined to be within 5 years of their PhD being awarded or professional career. Selections will also aim to maximise the diversity and quality of candidates.
