Scope and objectives of Symposium:

This is a forum for the presentation of talks and discussion on:

• the achievements of cloud seeding
• the scientific basis and verification
• current and future plans for cloud seeding in Australia
• developing a framework (scientific and technical) for a co-ordinated national approach

Invited presenters will include:

• Roelof Bruintjes (National Center for Atmospheric Research, USA)
• Arlen Huggins (Desert Research Institute, USA)
• Daniel Rosenfeld (Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
• Masataka Murakami (Meteorological Research Institute, Japan)
• George W. Bomar (Texas Department of Licencing & Regulation, USA)

The Symposium is suitable for people working in research from the following areas:

• Representatives of Land and Water use
• Researchers in - hydrology/cloud physics, atmospheric and meteorological science
