A Twice Daily OLR Dataset for Meteorological Applications
Eventually, I'm going to write-up a note on the twice-daily dataset
that I created for use in the study of Wheeler and Kiladis (1999).
Basically, I took the NOAA (interpolated) OLR dataset, as
described at this link
at the Climate Diagnostics Center, and split-up the daytime and
nighttime grids so that the dataset was rearranged to be in
a synoptic sequence. If you are *really* interested in this dataset,
then e-mail me. If you only need the daily-average form of this
dataset, then you should contact the people at CDC
here.
