Objectives: To use and evaluate climate models in studies of
climate, climate variability, climate predictability and
climate change.
Specific Functions:

Design and conduct climate variability and climate
change experiments

Conduct studies of predictability on seasonal to
interannual and decadal time scales, including
climate change studies.

Participate in international intercomparison
experiments, by direct involvement with diagnostic projects.

Liaise with national and international climate groups.

Liaise and collaborate with climate and modelling groups
within BMRC
