Education:

  • B.Sc. / B.E. (Hons) in Chemistry and Environmental Engineering (2000)
University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia
  • Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering (2008)
Centre for Water Research, University of Western Australia, Perth, Australia
Thesis title: A Modelling Assessment of Hydrodynamics and Biogeochemistry of the Northern Adriatic Sea, and Effects on Clam Dynamics in Barbamarco Lagoon, Italy

Interests & Research:

  • My primary interests are coupled physical-ecological modelling applications. Currently I am involved testing the viability of using a coupled seasonal forecast model to predict coral bleaching in the Great Barrier Reef. I am also contributing to the development of quality control systems for marine observations for the Australian region and relevant adjacent ocean areas.
