|National Seasonal Temperature Outlook: probabilities for Autumn 2005, issued 17th February 2005|
Above average autumn temperatures favoured in Qld & northern NT
There is a moderate shift in the odds towards above average maximum temperatures for autumn (Mar-May) in large parts of Queensland and the north of the Northern Territory, the Bureau of Meteorology announced today. For the rest of the country there are no strong shifts in the odds towards either a warmer or cooler than average season. This outlook pattern is mainly the result of above average temperatures in the tropical Pacific Ocean.
