National Seasonal Temperature Outlook: probabilities for January to March 2006, issued 19th December 2005 | |||||||||||||||
Warmer than average start to 2006 favoured in westThere is a moderate shift in the odds towards above median maximum temperatures for the March quarter (January to March) in western WA, the Bureau of Meteorology announced today. Similar shifts in the odds are also apparent around parts of the Gulf of Carpentaria. However, over most of the country, the chances of exceeding the median maximum temperature for the first three months of 2006 are close to 50%.
