NT Seasonal Temperature Outlook: probabilities for May to July 2006, issued 21st April 2006 | ||||
Increased warmth favoured in northern NTThere is a moderate shift in the odds towards above average three-month maximum temperatures for the start of the dry season (May-July) over the northern NT. However, over the rest of the Territory, the chances of exceeding the median maximum temperature for the coming three months are close to 50%, the Bureau of Meteorology announced today. The outlooks are based on relationships between Pacific and Indian Ocean temperatures and Australian temperatures.
