The wettest day in May 2007 was the 28th when 32.2 mm was recorded. Historically, May rainfall has ranged from 14.1 mm in 1964, to 308.1 mm in 1879. Last May Perth registered 31.0 mm rainfall. Year to date rainfall - near average: The total rainfall
for January to May this year was 166.6 mm recorded on 33 days compared with the
average of 204 mm over 28 days. The total for the same period last year was 110.0
mm. Mean daily minimum temperature -
near average: Perth's mean daily minimum temperature in May was 10.6°C,
compared with the average of 10.9°C. Daily minima ranged from a cold 3.8°C
on the 22nd to a mild 16.9°C on the 2nd.
