Source of data

Temperature, humidity, wind, pressure and rainfall observations are from Renmark Aero {station 024048}. Evaporation observations are from Paringa Lock V {station 024037}.

Evaporation data is updated monthly. Daily evaporation is affected by cloud cover, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. The closest cloud, and sunshine observations are taken at Loxton about 35 kilometres to the southwest. These should provide a good guide to conditions at Renmark in most cases. Daily sunshine is affected by the amount of cloud.
