Source of data

Observations were drawn from Edithburgh {station 022046}.

A well exposed site. The The closest station reporting cloud, sunshine and evaporation is Adelaide, 75 kilometres northeast, across the Gulf waters. On an annual and monthly average basis, Edithburgh can be expected to have slightly more cloud and slightly less evaporation and sunshine than Adelaide. See climate maps for average values. Sunshine is dependent on cloud cover and evaporation is affected by cloud, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day.
