Source of data

Observations were drawn from Leigh Creek Airport {station 017110}.

The closest cloud, sunshine and evaporation observations are at Woomera, 170 kilometres to the southwest. These can only provide a general guide to conditions at Leigh Creek. Sunshine is affected by cloud amount and evaporation is affected by cloud, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. See climate maps for average values.
