Source of data

Observations were drawn from Parawa (Second Valley Forest AWS) {station 023875}.

Parawa is situated at an elevation of 340metres. The closest cloud and evaporation observation site is at the coastal town of Victor Harbor, around 30 kilometres to the east. This can only give a general guide to conditions in the Parawa area. Cloud amount is affected by moisture and prevailing wind regime and evaporation is affected by cloud cover, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. For average conditions in the area, see the climate maps.
