Source of data

Observations were drawn from Tarcoola Aero {station 016098}.

The closest evaporation and sunshine observatons are taken at Woomera, 220 kilometres to the east. These can give an indication of conditions at Tarcoola in most situations. Evaporation is affected by cloud cover, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. Daily sunshine hours are dependent on cloud amount.
