Source of data
Temperature, humidity, wind and rainfall observations are from Cressy Research Station {station 091306}. Pressure and cloud observations are from Launceston Airport {station 091311}. Evaporation observations are from Launceston Airport Comparison {station 091104}.
Launceston Airport is about 23 kilometres northeast of Cressy, and the conditions will often be quite different. The Launceston Airport data are included as a guide only. Evaporation observations ceased at Launceston Airport in June 2009. Cloud observations at Launceston Airport are from automated equipment and are somewhat different to those made by a human observer. For more details, please contact us.
