Temperature, humidity, pressure, cloud and rainfall observations are from Marree Comparison {station 017031}. Wind observations are from Marree Aero {station 017126}.
The nearest sunshine and evaporation observations are at Woomera, approximately 210 kilometres to the southwest. These are too remote to be representative. Over a year Marree would have more sunshine hours and greater evaporation than Woomera. Sunshine is dependent on length of day and cloud cover. Evaporation is affected by cloud, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. See climate maps for average values.
