IDCJDW5037.201305 Prepared at 01:00 UTC on Tuesday 7 May 2013
Observations were drawn from Minnipa Pirsa {station 018195}.
The nearest cloud observations are at Kyancutta, about 50 kilometres to the southeast. These should give a reasonable guide to conditions at Minnipa in most cases. The closest evaporation observations are from Gum View (Elliston), around 80 kilometres to the south. These should give a reasonable guide to conditions in the Minnipa area in most cases but note that evaporation is affected by cloud, relative humidity, temperature and wind strength during the day. The nearest site with sunshine data is Ceduna, 170 kilometres to the west. Sunshine is affected by cloud cover - which on a daily basis could be significantly different at the two sites. See climate maps for average values.
