Mid-latitude cyclones
or low pressure systems are atmospheric circulations
that rotate clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere
(anti-clockwise in the Northern Hemisphere).
Cyclones are areas of lower pressure and generally
associated with stronger winds, unsettled conditions,
cloudiness and rainfall.
