| This publication provides climatological information for a selection of Australian continental, island and Antarctic sites. A small number of stations in the Solomon Islands are also included (with the agreement of the Solomon Islands Meteorological Service). | |||

The climatological information for each station is presented in tabular form containing statistics of temperature, relative humidity, and precipitation for each calendar month. Annual means or totals have also been provided where possible. Meteorological reference maps for each state are provided. |

In general, for a station to be included in the publication, it was required
to have: No criterion was applied to the rainfall data. |
