Climate Data: Australia

Mean monthly averages, totals and extremes of various meteorological elements measured at stations throughout Australia and its Territories.
 
The monthly data for approximately 16000 rainfall stations and 1500 climate stations are provided on one CD ROM. In addition to rainfall, climate stations measure elements such as air temperature, wind speed, evaporation and sunshine duration. The number of different elements measured at climate stations varies between stations, but will always include rainfall and maximum and minimum air temperatures (sites shown below).

Format: CD ROM. A user interface helps select stations and climate elements for study, with results formatted for on-screen display, computer printer output or export to common spreadsheet and database formats. A table of monthly SOI is also included. Microsoft Access 2000/2002 users can bypass the provided interface and link directly to the tables. This product is compatible with Windows 95/98/NT4/ME/2000/XP.
