The Australian daily evaporation data DVD ROM contains:

  • Daily evaporation data for approximately 630 stations from the start of recording until the latest available.
  • A basic description of evaporation and additional reference material and metadata.

Format

Data is provided on one DVD ROM, comprising files in the following formats:

  • Daily evaporation data in comma separated ASCII text, in compressed ZIP format, with 1 day per record
  • Brief notes describing some properties of the data and the formats of the data, as a text file
  • Station details, as a text file
  • Metadata as html-based files
