Australian Daily Evaporation Data
| All recorded daily evaporation
data have been compiled for stations across Australia and nearby islands.
Evaporimeter water temperature and wind run data associated with the evaporation
observations are also included. Some stations do have gaps in the data record. |

| The data for approximately 630 stations are held
on one CD ROM as uncompressed text files. The total size of the data is
approximately 330 Mbyte. For each station the corresponding
data file contains all available observations from the start of recording
until the latest available. The CDROM contains a basic description of
evaporation and provides additional reference material and metadata.

Data records are comma separated ASCII text, with 1 day per record. Brief
notes on the data and the record
format are provided, together with html-based metadata. The CD ROM does
