Storm confirmation summaries for professional users
The enhanced storm confirmation service is designed for high volume professional use. It is available via subscription (charges apply). The service enables users to generate a monthly report listing thunderstorm and strong wind confirmations, for any location across Australia. This means the subscription service now provides, for the first time, complete coverage of monthly reports of thunderstorms and strong winds reported across the nation. Confirmations are available from January 2009.
The service continues to include access to state based summary tables for each month for major Australian population centres. These tabular PDF files enable quick confirmation of storm events that have occurred over towns and cities with a population of greater 10,000 people (see map).

How to subscribe
To register or renew for the storm confirmation subscription service, please send a request. There is an initial setup fee and an on-going annual fee for this service which will be detailed in the quote.
Hail confirmations
Hail reports are not currently available through the storm confirmation subscription service. For enquiries relating to hail, please send a request specifying the location and dates of interest (charges apply).
We are investigating options to gather and collate higher volumes of hail reports from across the country for inclusion in future versions of this service.
