There is information about the climate of overseas places on the world climate site and on the University of Tasmania architecture department web site. Very detailed global climate data is available from the National Climate Data Center in the USA.
The Meteorology CRC schools program page has loads of links to weather and climate sites, many specially chosen for their appeal to students.
QUT's Project Atmosphere Australia On-line is aimed at students and teachers: it also has many links which students will find useful.
The CRC Southern Hemisphere Meteorology 's ozone gateway has links to everything you could want to know about ozone depletion and UV radiation. It includes the information sheets maintained by the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) in Lauder, New Zealand.
You will find all you ever wanted to know about Greenhouse, the ozone layer and El Nino at the CSIRO climate change and El Nino link. For more on global warming and climate change, see the US Global Change Research Office brochure and the Bureau's climate change page.
Check the Nova web site, a general science web site which has information on the enhanced greenhouse effect, El Nino, ozone depletion and renewable energy.
The World Meteorological Organization has heaps of references - dictionaries, atlases, encyclopaedias and more.

The CRC for Southern Hemisphere Meteorology runs a meteorology in schools program to introduce primary and secondary school students and their teachers to aspects of atmospheric science. They will send teachers a free activities booklet, WEATHER AND THE ATMOSPHERE, suggesting a range of experiments and activities which do not call for expensive equipment.
Queensland University of Technology's Project Atmosphere Australia On-line has pointers to student activities and teacher training: it also has many useful links.
CSIRO Division of Atmospheric Research’s Airwatch is a schools and community program of hands-on learning and investigations of air pollution issues. The CSIRO kit covers inexpensive methods for the measurement of airborne particles, nitrogen dioxide in air, wind information at ground level and to several hundred metres, and use of odours and the wind information to identify pollution sources. Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment (GLOBE) is a hands-on international environmental science and education program. GLOBE links students, teachers, and the scientific research community in an effort to learn more about our environment through student data collection and observation.
