Visit a library.

Libraries are there to help you find answers to your questions and they’re free! Your local Council library will have information about weather and climate; ask them for help. The National Library page will help you find your nearest Council library just click on the map of Australia. Look in your school library, too. The more places you look, the more information you’ll get! You are welcome to visit the Bureau's head office library in Melbourne. Our library staff will help you to find what you need. Not all the Bureau's regional office libraries are able to offer help, but you can visit our NSW and WA libraries as long as you telephone first to arrange a suitable time. See the Bureau addresses and telephone numbers. Unfortunately, we cannot lend books to the general public. Our Melbourne library has computer ports for visitors, so bring your laptop along, if you have one.
